It would make every division in baseball perfectly equal with 5 teams in each division. The Rangers wouldn't have to travel so much and could play up to 18 to 20 games in their own state and wouldn't have to travel so much to Seattle, Oakland, and Anaheim and other non divisional teams just to bala... The Angels' lineup has gotten weaker and although they did sign Hideki Matsui that means that their 3-4-5 hitters will be Abreau, Hunter, and Matsui.
